Job Description

As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for preparing and applying powder coating finishes to a wide range of metal parts and components. You’ll work closely with other members of the shop floor to ensure high-quality finishes that meet customer and industry standards.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or grinding

- Set up and operate manual or automated powder coating equipment

- Apply coatings evenly and accurately to meet finish and thickness specs

- Inspect parts for quality and consistency before and after curing

- Follow safety and environmental procedures at all times

- Maintain clean work area and perform basic equipment upkeep

Qualifications

- Previous experience in powder coating, industrial painting, or metal finishing preferred

- Knowledge of powder coating processes and safety protocols

- Strong attention to detail and quality

- Ability to work independently and in a team

- Capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for extended periods

- Forklift experience or certification is an asset

Pay: $20.00-$32.78 per hour
