Powder Coat Technician

Helser Brothers is the premier custom drapery hardware supplier in the industry. We are a 27-year-old firm with established roots in Chandler. We serve the entire U.S. and ship internationally.

Join our team as a Powder Coater! In this position, the employee will be asked to powder coat various parts with various colors. Anyone who has any powder coating experience is encouraged to apply! Duties and Responsibilities:

- Hang and handle material

- Thoroughly inspect equipment and parts to ensure quality

- Prepares items for powder coat by utilizing various buffing, sanding, and cleaning methods

- Apply powder primers & powder coating finishes

- Assists in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment daily

- Knowledge of and ability to apply standard shop practice and procedure

- Uses accepted spraying technique to prevent over-spraying and loss of paint

- Disassembles and cleans all spraying equipment; maintains powder coat department in a clean and orderly manner

- Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met

- Must perform all work in accordance with all safety procedures

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements/Key Skills:

- Minimum of 2 years powder coating experience preferred

- Sense of urgency, eye for quality, and attention to detail

- Must be comfortable wearing a respirator

- Ability to follow work order instructions

- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs

- Able to work in a team environment

Schedule:8-hour shift Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
