Matador Powder Coating is looking for an experienced evening Powder Coat Prepper. Must have experience in preparation for powder coating. The ideal candidate must work well with a team, be reliable, efficient, organized, and communicative with great attention to detail. Prior experience preferred.
Responsibilities
•
Must be a team player and self starter
•
Efficiently hang and Prep Parts for Powder Coating
•
Ensure parts are cleaned and masked properly prior to powder coat
•
Ability to work with heavy machinery, sharp tools, and sanders.
•
Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
•
Must know Powder Coat Preparation for all surface types.
•
Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
•
Address customer concerns, questions, and assistance with loading and unloading customer hardware.
•
Maintain a clean and tidy work area
•
Keep track of inventory needed for prep supplies and let supervisor know when supplies need to be reordered
•
Close shop down and have ready for morning crew
•
Forklift experience required, certification preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
•
8 hour shift
•
Evening shift
Work Location: In person
