Powder Coat Painter

We are a mid-sized metal fabrication facility located in the Maumelle/North Little Rock area. We specialize in large quantity orders of fabricated sheet metal. We have laser, turret punch, press brake, welding, powder coating, and machine capabilities all in house. We primarily operate within the 1/4 inch - 22ga range of material, and produce products for a huge range of industries. We have been in business since 1993, and were fortunate enough to continue hiring through most of the pandemic, and never have a layoff.

We currently have 1 position open in our paint department. We will give strong preference to candidates with batch powder coat experience. Functions of this roll include heavy lifting (5-20 pounds regularly), stacking, sorting, and basic data entry in our company system. Skills that will be beneficial for long-term employment/advancement are good forklift skills, the ability to keep track of large quantities of parts and make sure they get to their appropriate destination, and ability to set up and run small machines. All of these skills can be trained on the job with time for individuals that express interest. Other tasks may involve assisting in different areas of the shop either running a machine or doing prep work like grinding and peeling. These tasks can vary. Our night shift is 4pm to 2:30 am Monday-Thursday. We do 4 10 hour days instead of 5 8's. There is opportunity for overtime on the weekends, we do not cap time on the job within reason. There is ample room for advancement into supervisor roles for those willing to learn the systems in place, the customers, procedures, etc.

We do everything we can to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment for our employees. However, this is not an air conditioned facility, and there is lifting and occasional dirty work involved in the job.
