Portal Mines - Underground Communications Frontline Supervisor

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Electrical/Networks Supervisor at our Portal Mine operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of all underground electrical equipment; direct supervision of electrical crews and contractors working in the electrical department’s area of responsibility; perform other duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Underground Network and Communication Supervisor, the Underground Network and Communication Technician is responsible for the following:

Equipment includes, but not limited to fiber optic network, wireless network, Cisco switches, Radio and radio controls.

Qualifications:

The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
