Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and install various plumbing fixtures and systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read blueprints and work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
•
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures including sinks, toilets, pipes, and water heaters.
•
Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with local codes.
•
Assemble and install valves, fittings, and pipes using hand tools and power tools.
•
Conduct pipe threading to ensure proper connections and functionality of plumbing systems.
•
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to complete projects efficiently.
•
Read blueprints to understand the layout of plumbing systems in new constructions or renovations.
•
Respond promptly to service calls for repairs or installations as needed.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
•
Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
•
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for plumbing tasks.
•
Strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
•
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
•
Experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not required.
•
Valid driver's license with the ability to operate commercial vehicles if necessary.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
•
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
