Southern MEP Inc is looking for a Plumbing Foreman!
Duties/ Responsibilities:
•
Lead and manage a 4 - 10 man plumbing crew.
•
Ability to read, understand, and communicate with GC, and project manager about the construction schedule.
•
Ability to conduct yourself in professional manner within meetings with clients and owners.
•
Ability to communicate your scope of work in a professional manner.
•
Ability to layout piping network from contract drawings and BIM drawings.
•
Ability to read, understand, and communicate different types of construction drawings.
•
Ability to read, understand, and ensure fixtures are roughed in correctly from approved submittals.
•
Complete knowledge of plumbing codes and ensure the installation is correct.
•
Ensure all fixture types are installed correctly and leak free and caulked correctly
•
Conduct and complete piping test procedures and ready for the inspection.
•
Forecast material and tool needs 2 - 4 weeks out.
•
30 Hr. OSHA certified and be able to perform as the competent person.
Required Skills/Abilities:

1 plus years of experience as a plumbing foreman.
•
