Plating Technician

Job Title: Plating Technician Reports to: Coating Manager Location: San Marcos, Texas

We have one goal: to manufacture quality magnets! We are looking for exceptional individuals who want to learn, build, and lay a foundation for our company for the years to come.

About this role Noveon Magnetics is looking for someone who has 3+ years of experience in surface finishing for direct manufacturing and commercialization. Expertise in electroplating metals and metallic alloys in aqueous solutions, pre-treatment, cleaning, pickling, Zn, phosphate, Ni/Cu, epoxy etc., and diagnosis and failure analysis of coatings.

We need this person to assist in electroplating and corrosion-resistance plating processes on pilot and production lines at Noveon. These processes will be instrumental in properly applying corrosion-resistant coatings to Noveon products.
