Plant Operator / Oilfield Operator

Wesco Operating, Inc. is a family-owned energy company located in Casper, WY. Wesco currently operates ~500 wells across 6 states.

Wesco is looking for a motivated and team orientated individual to be employed as a Plant Operator/Oilfield Operator located in the Moab, Utah Area. The role includes: checking wells and recording production data daily; troubleshooting facilities and natural gas engines; light mechanical work on engines and hydraulic units. In addition to oilfield operations, daily plant operations will also be required. This will include but is not limited to: completing daily reporting, equipment maintenance, and process checks.

Expected hours: 40 to 50 hours per week with 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

· Work safely with a team to keep production flowing from wells and keep the gas plant operational

· Daily checks of wells and facilities

· Record data accurately in production software

· Perform light maintenance on natural gas engines

· Perform light maintenance on Hydraulic units

· Perform light maintenance and trouble shoot: treaters, dehy units, pumping units, natural gas engines, amine units, and compression.

· Keep Wesco locations clean and tidy

Required Qualifications

· Good communication skills

· Clean Driver’s License

· Perficient with Microsoft Excel & Word

· Ability to work with a team

· Familiar with oil and gas operations and equipment

· All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Plant Operations (1 year or more)

· Experience with Oilfield Facility Operations (1 year or more)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
