BASIC FUNCTION:
Controls and safely maintains the daily operations of the PCC Production facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Responsible for the operation of all manual and automated (computer) process systems, to ensure an efficient, quality production
•
Completion of all quality test requirements to verify product quality
•
To ensure efficient, uninterrupted production and identify and facilitate process improvements, monitor equipment and report production information in a complete, accurate and timely manner
•
To maintain a clean and safe work area
•
Assist in the maintenance of all process equipment
•
General operation of a computer controlled industrial process plant
•
Quality control in a ISO9000 environment
•
Physical checks and repairs of process equipment
•
Cleaning and housekeeping of the facility and equipment
•
Assist with maintenance activities as necessary
•
Maintenance of the ISO system.
•
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•
High school diploma or GED preferred
•
Able to work safely
•
Industrial/manufacturing experience
•
Laboratory experience is preferred
•
Able to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends
•
Ability to communicate efficiently verbally and in writing with coworkers, supervisors and customer
•
Works inside and occasionally outside exposed to heat, cold, dirt, and noise
•
Operates facility alone on nights and weekends
•
Keep records for samples and information
•
Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the instruments in the laboratory
•
Assist in achieving and maintaining ISO certification for the Maintenance and Laboratory department
•
Rotating shift work required
