Plant Operator

- Monitor and operate the plant through the control room with consistency and responsibility.

- Conduct surveillance of operating equipment and critical parameters while maintaining accurate operations logs.

- Prepare equipment for maintenance and perform routine preventative inspections.

- Identify and recommend improvements to optimize plant performance.

- Collaborate with team members to implement changes and solutions.

- Support and comply with COP’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management System, ensuring a safe work environment at all times.

- Experience: 5–7 years in plant operations or a related field.

- Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of plant technology, operational applications, industry terminology, and required procedures.

- Skills: Ability to perform varied and complex tasks with minimal supervision.

- Decision-Making: Capable of making sound decisions within broad operational parameters.

- Other: Must demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety.
