To provide database management and development, Power Flow studies, Hosting Capacity studies and technical support for the cost-effective expansion of the distribution system, while maintaining and enhancing distribution system service reliability levels and customer service.
Creates and reports on the department’s Power Flow and Hosting Capacity studies via the Synergy Power Flow program.
Populates, updates and reports from the Synergy Anomaly and Communication Logs. Updates and maintains the design of the department’s Intranet website as needed.
Complete special projects such as AutoCAD drawings, report generation, database support, study support, and service and master plan updates.
Assists in the maintenance and data input of the Synergy Power Flow program.
Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
Essential Education, Skills, and Environment
Education and Work ExperienceAssociates degree in the area of specialty from an accredited school and 5 years of related experience.
Candidates that do not possess an associate’s degree must have a minimum of 7 years of related work experience.

PCs, word processing, power flow, spreadsheet and database software.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
General office environment. Occasionally required to walk across uneven terrain to complete field inspections.
$28.51 to $33.56 per hour. Up to 10% Short Term Incentive Plan target opportunity at the discretion of the company. This is a non-represented position.
