Nino Development is seeking a skilled and results-driven Piping Project Manager to oversee and manage piping-related construction projects in the Columbia, SC area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable and growing construction firm that partners with industry-leading clients across the Southeast.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in mechanical piping systems—including process piping, industrial piping, or utility piping—and demonstrate the ability to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll work closely with field teams, subcontractors, engineers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage the full lifecycle of piping construction projects, from planning and procurement to execution and completion
•Coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to align project scopes, schedules, and budgets
•Oversee field installation of piping systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards
•Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and daily reports
•Lead internal project meetings and communicate progress updates to stakeholders
•Monitor project costs, schedules, and manpower to ensure profitability
•Ensure adherence to all OSHA, company, and client safety requirements
Qualifications:
•5+ years of project management experience in mechanical or piping construction
•Strong understanding of piping systems (e.g., process, utility, or industrial piping)
•Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
•Excellent communication and leadership skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
•Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required
