We are looking for a motivated Pipelines Engineering Student to join our fast-paced Development Operations team! You will have the exciting opportunity to be part of an active engineering team responsible for the planning and execution of major oil and gas pipeline/facility projects. - Job location : Calgary, AB – Head Office
- Shift schedule : 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday)
- Term length: 4 months
- Term starts: January, May or September 2026
- Safety sensitive position: Yes
- Support an engineering team through project scope of work, design and documentation for project optimization by reviewing pipeline records, pipeline system details and reviews, ongoing operations and engineering support
- Gain exposure to all aspects of pipeline and wellsite construction including inline inspections (ILI), free standing liners, composite pipelines, etc.
- Analyze historical cost data and provide accurate cost estimates as required
- Prepare and distribute RFP packages for pipeline and well site projects to potential contractors and award contracts to successful proponents
- Acquire hands-on experience with several widely used industry software programs including Maximo, Abadata, Accumap, Cambio, Aucerna and Tableau
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an engineering degree program (Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Energy, and Petroleum/Oil & Gas disciplines preferred)
- Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or equivalent out of province license
- Motivated, collaborative, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
