Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pipelayers / Underground Plumbing Expert to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead two to three teams to excavate, diagnose, repair, and restore residential underground plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, know the field well including sewer liners, pipe bursting, water service and sewer repairs in the city of Milwaukee. Our team mainly works 4 days a week with an emphasis of having Fridays off. This is a hourly or salary with quarterly bonuses based upon personal goals and team and company performance.
Pipe Layer Overview:
This role is in charge of the jobsites and the equipment and shop as a whole. They will have eyes on most all jobsites, set up more complicated jobs and help when needed. as the teams excavate, diagnose, repair, and restore underground plumbing systems.
Pipelayer Key / Underground Plumbing Technician Responsibilities:
•Lead 2-3 teams of (2-4 members) to excavate and unearth plumbing issues.
•Install and repair underground plumbing systems, including drain lines, sewer laterals, and water services.
•Backfill and restore surfaces post-repair.
•Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
•Maintain a clean, organized and SAFE work area, adhering to all safety regulations on the construction site.
•Monitor the teams hours, shop equipment, trucks and machinery and delegate responsibilities.
•Work closely with the sales and customer service team with scheduling and quoting jobs.
Ideal Pipelayer Key / Underground Plumbing Technician Will Have:
•Experience in pipe laying, sewer and water systems, and/or general plumbing. Construction and Telecom experience is a great foundation to start with here.
•Experience leading teams and managing equipment
•Experience operating equipment such as a excavators, mini excavators and skid steer are highly valued.
•Strong problem-solving skills and general handiness.
All candidates Must Have:
•Drivers license & reliable transportation.
•Able to work 5 days a week with some long days mixed in.
•Be able to problem solve.
•Work as a team - these are not one-person operations, we depend on each other from start to finish.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
