Pipefitter Apprentice / Yard Support (Welding Experience a Plus)

Position Overview:

We are seeking Pipefitter Apprentices / Yard Support team members to join our fabrication facility. This entry-level role starts in the yard, working with material, loading/unloading, and preparing pipe, with a clear path to grow into a pipefitter/welder role through hands-on training.

Responsibilities:

- Organize, stage, and prepare materials in the yard and shop.

- Assist with pipe cutting, measuring, and prepping spools.

- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided if needed).

- Support pipefitters and welders on active jobs.

- Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications:

- Previous yard, construction, or industrial experience preferred.

- Welding experience or training is a plus (but not required — we provide training).

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop/yard environment.

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a skilled trade.

Schedule:

- Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with overtime as needed)

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
