The purpose of this job will be to help perform maintenance and/or capital work on the offline units, plants and petroleum pipelines and food grade piping systems
Qualified Welders will have experience with the following major duties, responsibilities, and experience but are not limited to the following
Required to have all necessary welding tools and have experience with associated power tools
Know how to correctly use hand grinders, tig rigs, whips, grinders, ARC machines, Acetylene/Oxygen tanks
Correctly perform the welding processes for , pipe, combination, and tube welds depending on classification
Perform welds at a 100% no fail rate when being X-rayed
Understand SONS’s / OSHA safety standards OSHA 10 card
Must meet company welding certifications on stainless tube tests, carbon steel, chrome, steel
Must effectively work well with supervision, other crafts, and helpers
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to work unscheduled overtime and/or night shifts
Industrial experience as a Pipe Welder is preferred
Must be able to meet all pre-employment conditions and site safety policies
All employees will be required to work outside in full/partial sun or rain
Employees will be working during peak heat of the day times
Employees will need to be able to lift, carry, pull, push, and move 50lbs
All employees will be required to wear proper protective equipment such as hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, and proper jobsite clothing or per safety’s request.
Will need to use a respirator when welding chrome
