Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipe/Utility Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. As a Pipe/Utility Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

•

Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project schedules and timelines.

•

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and laborers to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.

•

Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to understand project requirements and scope.

•

Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and Primavera for project tracking and reporting.

•

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.

•

Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources throughout the construction process.

•

Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

•

Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly and effectively.

Experience

•

Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.

•

Proficiency in construction management software including HCSS preferred

•

Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management.

•

Experience with budgeting processes and cost control measures in construction projects.

•

Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.

•

Excellent leadership abilities with strong communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.

•

Must have atleast 10-15 years of experience
