Position Summary:
Work side-by-side with customer engineers to develop and provide customer solutions for increased productivity and improved supplier relationships.
Work Environment:
Indoors and Outdoors, with driving involved. Use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S monitor as required or needed.

•Customer Focus: Petroleum Technologist are dedicated to servicing customers.
•Cost Reduction and Productivity: Their primary goal is to reduce costs associated with well treatment while increasing productivity. They actively seek out techniques and strategies to achieve these objectives.
•Deep Understanding: Petroleum Technologist work closely with clients to develop a deep understanding of their requirements. This personalized approach allows them to tailor solutions specifically to the customer’s needs.
•Quality Improvement: Alongside cost reduction and productivity enhancement, Petroleum Technologist also strive to improve quality. They aim to deliver efficient and effective cost solutions that meet high standards.
•Knowledge of SGB's product lines, product applications, wellsite equipment and its effect on chemical treatment, various production vessels and treatment options.
•Provide excellent customer service to our clients by troubleshooting and quickly resolving issues, maintaining financial and technical portfolios, and keeping customers informed of their wellsite performance
•Maintain the highest level of safety at all times
•Work well independently and in a team atmosphere
•Develop data for quarterly review.
•Help create quarterly customer presentations using google drive, google sheets and google slides.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science Degree and/or Chemical Engineering preferred.
•Associates of Science Degree and/or Chemical Engineering required.
•2 years oilfield experience a minimum
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•Self-motivated, extreme ownership mindset
Skills & Abilities:
•Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Suite but specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
•Google drive and specifically google sheets, google docs and google slides.
•Customer Service Skills: Meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
•Work Ethic: Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace.
