You'll conduct comprehensive title research and analysis to determine ownership of mineral rights, non partcipating royalty interests, and overriding royalties. You'll also identify and resolve title defects, encumbrances, and discrepancies to ensure we have clear and marketable title.
You'll perform necessary curative work to perfect title, including preparing and recording affidavits, stipulations, assignments, and other legal instruments.
You'll accurately input and maintain land-related data in our internal systems, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of information.
You'll effectively communicate with internal teams (e.g., acquisitions, engineering, research) and external parties, providing clear and concise land-related information and recommendations.
You'll proactively identify and resolve complex land-related issues, demonstrating strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Maintaining meticulous and organized records of all land documents, correspondence, and research is essential.
You'll need an in-depth knowledge of real property law, oil and gas law, and the intricacies of mineral ownership.
