We’re looking for a detail-driven Payroll Coordinator to keep our Carbon Division running smoothly behind the scenes.
In this role, you’ll be a trusted partner to employees and leaders, ensuring that payroll and HR processes are seamless, accurate, and confidential. A typical week might include:
- Owning payroll operations – maintaining weekly and biweekly payroll, processing changes for new hires, transfers, terminations, and leaves of absence.
- Making it right for employees – explaining paychecks, solving payroll challenges, and providing top-notch customer service.
- Handling pay deductions – calculating and posting taxes, benefits, and voluntary deductions.
- Keeping records straight – maintaining confidential files, completing employment verifications, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Partnering with supervisors – communicating payroll updates, reports, and audits to keep everything accurate and on track.
- Supporting HR projects – assisting with special projects and lending administrative support across the department.

- The ability to work independently as well as on a team.
- Absolute commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
- Comfort using a variety of office tools (fax, copier, email, calendar systems).
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration (or related field) preferred.
- 1+ years of experience processing payroll required.- Experience with Workday software is a plus.
- Background in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
