Job Overview:
Under the general supervision of the Director, HR Operations, this role will be responsible for assisting weekly and biweekly payroll processing as well as managing various aspects of employee benefits including enrollment, billing and communication.
Responsibilities:
•Assist with coordination and processing of weekly & biweekly payroll including calculations, deposits, withholdings, and time off balances.
•Distribute payroll checks/pay cards to work locations for on-cycle and off-cycle check runs.
•Review payroll reports before transactions to ensure correctness.
•Process of manual checks such as terminations, stop payments and discrepancies.
•Generate periodic and ad-hoc payroll reports to management.
•Prepare reports required for audit operations.
•Respond to payroll queries and concerns from employees.
•Communicate with the Human Resources staff to ensure the integrity of the payroll data including data related to new hires, termination, transfer, and rate changes.
•Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant industry regulations, tax, and deduction laws.
•Back up primary payroll processing tasks as needed.
•Approving enrollment requests for new hires, open enrollment, and life change events
•Detailing invoices for accounting purposes
•Communicating with employees via emails/calls and posting communications
•Resolving benefit issues that arise for employees
•Communicating with vendors
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not serve in a leadwork or supervisory capacity; however, the incumbent shall be called upon to troubleshoot and offer technical assistance in support of management and HR staff.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Qualifications:
•Proficient in ADP WFN/Payroll & HR
•Knowledge of Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Word
•Strict confidentiality a must

Salary Range: $42,464 - $68,292
