Purpose:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Payroll Coordinator. Reporting to the Controller, the Payroll Coordinator should have a working knowledge of Prevailing Wage Reporting and will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll in collaboration with other Payroll Coordinators. Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:
+ Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and verification. + Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. + Knowledge of Prevailing wage reporting beneficial
Data Accuracy:
+ Perform regular audits to guarantee data accuracy.
Timekeeping and Attendance:
+ Oversee timekeeping systems and processes to ensure accurate recording of employee work hours. + Address and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Tax Compliance:
+ Collaborate with HR to address any payroll-related compliance issues.
Team Collaboration:
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary payroll data and resolve payroll-related queries. + Collaborate with Finance for accurate financial reporting.
Recordkeeping:
+ Maintain accurate and organized payroll records and documentation.
Communication:
+ Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.


Benefits Administration:

Oversee day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA/HSA, and retirement plans.

Act as a liaison between employees, benefits broker and benefits vendors to resolve issues and support enrollment, claims, and eligibility.

Oversee the management of the benefits renewal process and annual open enrollment in partnership with brokers and providers.

Ensure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, and other applicable laws and regulations.

Maintain accurate and confidential records related to employee benefits.

Educate employees on benefit offerings and changes and develop communication tools to enhance employee understanding and engagement.


Qualifications:

Experience with Prevailing Wage Reporting.
2-3 years of payroll experience
Exposure to Procore, Viewpoint Spectrum and Traqspera software is beneficial.
Experience with ADP payroll processes
Working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word applications.
Ability to work independently, and collaboratively
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.



Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods of time.
Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
