Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Refrigeration Parts Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely quotes for refrigeration parts, supporting the sales and service teams, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of refrigeration systems or parts quoting experience, excellent communication skills, and a knack for organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing:
•Provide accurate and competitive quotes for refrigeration parts based on customer inquiries, service technician requests, and project needs.
•Source parts from manufacturers and vendors, ensuring availability, lead time, and pricing align with customer/project requirements.
•Maintain a thorough knowledge of refrigeration components, systems, and industry terminology.
•Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams (service, sales, purchasing) to clarify needs and provide timely updates.
•Enter quotes and parts information into internal systems and follow up on outstanding quotes.
•Monitor parts inventory levels to support quoting and order processes.
•Work closely with technicians to identify correct parts needed for repairs and replacements.
•Ensure documentation and quote records are accurate and well-organized.
Warehouse:
•Keep the shop organized, clean, and clutter-free.
•Maintain an accurate inventory of parts and supplies.
•Receive and properly store deliveries in the warehouse.
•Pick up parts, supplies, and equipment as needed.
•Load and unload large equipment and ensure it is staged properly in the warehouse.
•Coordinate the emptying of recovery tanks in the warehouse.
Qualifications:
•Prior experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical parts quoting or sales preferred.
•Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and related components.
•Excellent communication and customer service skills.
•High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
•Proficient in using quoting systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Technical certifications or background in refrigeration or HVAC a plus.
•Experience working with OEM parts, aftermarket suppliers, and vendor negotiations.
Work Environment:
•Office-based with regular communication via phone, email, and ERP systems.
•Occasional visits to warehouses or job sites may be required.
