Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Parts Manager to build and oversee our parts department operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory management, parts ordering, team supervision, vendor relationships, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage daily operations of the parts department.
•Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
•Order, receive, and distribute parts in a timely and efficient manner.
•Work closely with multiple service departments to ensure parts availability.
•Build strong relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing.
•Monitor and manage department budget, sales, and profitability.
•Supervise and train parts team members to meet performance standards.
•Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
•Provide outstanding service to internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•3+ years of experience in a parts department, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
•Knowledge of automotive/heavy equipment/industrial parts.
•Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
•Ability to lift and move heavy parts as needed.
•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to lift and move 50lbs or more
•Ability to work in various positions, including sitting, standing, kneeling, and bending, for extended periods.
•Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
•A willingness to work extended hours as needed.
