Parts Manager

Summary: Manages parts operations within their branch to provide the highest level of external and internal customer satisfaction while maximizing return on investment through parts sales, inventory control, and expense management. This role will work closely with other branch personnel to ensure a seamless customer experience resulting in consistent growth along all lines of business. This position is for our Cape Girardeau, MO location.
Responsibilities:
•Collaborates with the service department throughout the day to maximize productivity.
•Prepare, process, and ensure parts order documentation is completed in a timely matter.
•Proactively advise customers of upcoming parts needs.
•Maintains an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes monthly cycle counts, annual physical inventory, and proper counter procedures.
•Using the CASE dealer portal or vendor websites, submits all parts warranty, daily orders, and monthly returns within the required time frame to receive maximum credit.
•Maximize the customer and dealership warranty reimbursement claims by collaborating with the warranty administrator and service technicians.
•Proper use of all order discount programs to achieve management stock order goals.
•Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, personal compliance, accountability, and communication.
Requirements:
•Five years of parts department experience preferably in the construction equipment or automotive industry including a background in customer service.
•Take all CASE CE basic and core training outlined for Parts Managers.
•Basic understanding of financial principles relative to parts department operations.
•Capabilities in the use of standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office general knowledge of dealer business systems.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Strong work ethic and team first mentality.
•Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
•High school degree; Associate degree or above preferred.
