AIS Construction Equipment is the oldest Michigan owned and operated heavy equipment company in the state and has been serving customers for over 60 years. We are looking for a full-time Parts Delivery Driver/Electrical Rebuilder to join our Traverse City team.
Responsibilities:
•
Load truck and trailer and secure load
•
Deliver heavy equipment parts to customers all over Northern Michigan
•
Interact with customers at jobsites/businesses when delivering parts
•
Operate forklift
•
Complete bin counts
•
Pull parts orders
•
Assist with shipping and receiving as needed
•
Learn how to rebuild starters and alternators, work on small engines, etc.
Qualifications/Skills:
•
18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
•
Valid state-issued driver's license
•
Experience towing a trailer
•
Willingness to learn
•
Good written and verbal communication skills
•
Punctual, reliable, and a strong sense of urgency
•
Able to work independently and within a team
•
Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
•
Able to pass a background screening and drug test
•
Experience in customer service and/or knowledge of heavy equipment
