Part-Time / On-Call Water and Wastewater Operator

ON-CALL AND PART-TIME WATER AND WASTEWATER OPERATOR

Midwest Contract Operations, Inc. (MCO) is a professional contract operations firm seeking a reliable individual to assist operations’ staff at Allenton, Wisconsin in the water and wastewater systems. Candidates shall have the ability to schedule one full week per month. Duties include weekday after hours and weekend on-call, and performing routine rounds for scheduled weekends and Holidays. Weekday on-call is from 4:00 PM to 6:00 AM to accommodate those with full-time jobs. Scheduling is coordinated with full-time staff and is flexible.

On-call responsibilities will include responding to system alarms. Candidates must be able to be on site to call-ins within 40 minutes of receiving the call. A general understanding of equipment is required, and any needed training will be provided. This position requires a valid driver’s license, and MVR search.

The starting wage for this position is $22.00 per hour for hours worked plus on-call pay, and mileage reimbursement. Mileage reimbursement and on-call pay rates will be provided at the time of interviews. All applications are kept confidential. This position will be posted until filled.
