The Trinity Safety EMS Division operates 4 certified and accredited Ambulances daily in the Kern County area. In cooperation with Hall Ambulance, Trinity Safety provides Patient care and Patient transport throughout California and Nevada. While many of our team members are trained to the Advanced Life Support Paramedic level of care, Trinity Safety specializes in Emergency Medical Technicians that provide the highest quality of care through Basic Life Support medical and rescue standby services.
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Paramedic (EMT-P) is to provide ongoing care through established Pre-hospital protocols, the environment, instrumentation, other health care team members, and interacting agencies. The primary objective of the Paramedic is to provide safe and expedient response to emergent and non-emergent calls where patient care is provided and continued enroute to a definitive care facility.

The individual in this position must possess the following qualifications:
•National or State Paramedic License
•Valid driver license with an insurable record.
•Be at least 20 years old by the time you start work.
•Ability to lift 75 pounds
Education Requirements:
The individual in this position must possess the following education requirements:
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
•Completion of a recognized Paramedic training program.
•Valid & current State of California Certification as an EMT-P in good standing. Kern County certification may be obtained post-offer; prior to orientation.
•Valid & current Class C California Driver License.
•Valid & current Ambulance Driver Certification and Medical Examiners Certificate.
•Valid & current CPR card.
Clinical Requirements:
•The clinical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
•Provides Basic and Advanced Life Support Care and transport while working as a member of an emergency medical team to patients while in adherence to the scope of practice, patient care procedures, protocols and medical direction according to their level of certification/licensure.
•Determines the nature and extent of illness or injury, magnitude of catastrophe, need for additional assistance, establishing and providing patient care by developing a patient care plan and performing skills within the scope of practice and according to patient care procedures, protocols and medical direction.
•Monitoring patient conditions and responses to care.
•Communicating with professional medical personnel interagency and at emergency treatment facilities.
•Completes patient care reports in accordance with documentation standards as required by Kern County EMS and other regulating agencies.
•Maintains and continues to obtain at least the minimum prescribed continuing education required to keep your certification/licensure in the state.
•Attends mandatory crew meetings and other mandatory training events required by Trinity Safety Company or other regulating agencies.
Location of work will be in Eastern Kern County.
