The Painter/Blaster is responsible for preparing and coating various surfaces of equipment used in oil field operations to ensure the highest quality and durability. This role involves the application of protective coatings and the operation of abrasive blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, contaminants, and previous coatings.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3+ years related experience is required.
Fluent in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with situations involving limited instructions or lack of direct leadership.

Applicant must be respirator fit test and be medically cleared to wear a tight-fitting respirator and/or sandblasting hood and blast suit during operations.
