Steel Fabrication Shop is looking for a Structural Steel Painter/Loader.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for operating painting systems for structural steel as well as loading it.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Set up, operate, and maintain spray paint guns.
•
Safely operate overhead crane and/or forklifts to move materials.
•
Responsible for the quality and quantity of the finished product.
•
Record materials placed on trucks for shipment.
•
Clean rust and other debris from steel beams and columns.
•
Creates and maintains a working team environment.
•
Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping.
•
Responsible for any other tasks assigned by Team Leader, as required.
•
Practice safe working habits and follow safety policy, procedures, and job safety analysis (JSA).
•
Ability to work towards continuous improvement of product quality.
•
REQUIREMENTS:
•
Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment.
•
Must be able to pass respiratory clearance testing, if necessary.
•
Good communication skills.
•
Must be able to twist and bend 80% of the time
1st Shift:
Monday - Friday
7:00 am to 3:30 pm
