Painter/Laborer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial/industrial painting, as well as a strong background in various labor tasks. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality work, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Painter/Laborer will be responsible for ensuring that all painting and labor tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Duties

· Working with the Steelhead team to ensure they complete the work according to the requirements designated by our customers.

· Measuring the work area to calculate the time and materials required to complete the project

. Working with warehouse on various labor tasks.

· Preparing the material with proper surface prep

· Knowledge of cleaning specs & methods.

· Choosing the proper tools to complete the job

· Mixing and matching paints and colors to meet the texture and look required for the project

· Cleaning up painting tools and supplies

· Collaborating with shop team on other larger jobs

· Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order.

Ability to disassembly and replace worn parts in spray equipment

Safely disposing of chemical waste.

Ensuring that high safety standards are met.

· Apply coatings, such as paint, ink, or lacquer, to protect workpiece surfaces, using spray guns or brushes.

· Knowledge of airless sprayers, conventional spray guns & pressure pot spray equipment.

· Experience working with commercial and Industrial coatings.

· Experience in production paint shops.

· Ability to mix multi part paint systems with hardener or activator.

· Examine finished surfaces of workpieces to verify conformance to specifications and retouch any defective areas.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
