Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team, responsible for applying paint, to various surfaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial projects, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.
Duties
•
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
•
Apply paint, other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
•
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and remodelers on renovation projects.
•
Perform masonry tasks as needed to prepare surfaces for painting.
•
Conduct industrial painting projects requiring specialized techniques and materials.
•
Execute trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of painted surfaces.
•
Use caulking materials to seal joints and gaps for a polished finish.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Skills
•
Proficiency in various painting techniques and tools.
•
Experience with masonry and plaster work is a plus.
•
Knowledge of remodeling processes and construction site operations.
•
Ability to read and interpret schematics related to painting projects.
•
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
•
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
•
Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve standing for long periods or lifting materials.
