We, Monument Resources, LLC, a leader in land services in East Texas and surrounding areas, are seeking an in-house Owner Relations Specialist to join our team. This candidate must be able to maintain exceptional customer service for our client, a large independent Oil and Gas company. The responsibilities of this role include resolving customer inquiries and/or accelerating the call to the appropriate person/ department. To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator and an even better listener.
This is a full-time independent contractor position. The daily rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications during the interview process. Candidates must be able to commute to or relocate to Longview, Tx 75604 before starting work.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
•Providing exceptional customer service by providing specific information regarding royalty payments, change of address requests, estate requirements, etc
•Assisting customers effectively by resolving customer disputes in a timely manner
•Completing supporting paperwork; Data entry as required
•Using email interface and other online programs
•Maintaining clear and concise records/ customer information
•Responsible for working owner inquiries originating from emails, telephone calls (direct and hotline), and written correspondences
•Strong analytical and communication skills; comfortable dealing with owners, peers, and management
•Establishes and maintains effective relationships with owners, peers, and management
•Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
•Willing to work after hours, as needed, to meet deadlines
•Seeks additional responsibilities as learning progression occurs
•Continuing development in functional/technical skills
•Adapts well to changes in responsibilities and workloads
•Good problem solving and time management skills

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience as a Customer support specialist or other, similar CS role
•Experience using a help desk platform, various Microsoft applications, and other data processing software
•Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
•Strong phone contact handling and active listening skills
•Ability to tactfully navigate difficult customer disputes in stressful situations
•A high school diploma/ College degree a plus
