This position is accountable for performing routine Quality Testing of Gas Producers, Power Turbines, and Reduction Gearboxes to ensure conformance to Solar and/or customer specifications. Resolve and troubleshoot routine test facility and package issues. Acquire and review performance and vibration data required for engine acceptance. Accurately record and document test events and incidents in the Automated Test log. Assist Metrology and Maintenance during planned calibration or maintenance activities. Promote and demonstrate leadership and support of all safety, and lean initiatives.

Job Purpose

Previous test experience desirable

Skills Needed:* Requires good mechanical skills and the ability to operate shop equipment, bench tools, hand tools, and inspection and test equipment (micrometers, multimeters, and dial indicators).

Principal Accountabilities* Perform installation and removal of gas turbines and accessories.

Minimum Qualifications* Background of demonstrating strong mechanical Skills

Summary Pay Range:

$51,674.00 - $77,510.00
