Drive revenue growth as a key representative of Spindletop Energy Products, a leading distributor of pro-grade control and emissions equipment. Under the direction of sales management, develop and execute strategic sales plans within an assigned territory to grow existing accounts and capture new business opportunities. Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, delivering consultative solutions across energy, industrial, marine, and agriculture markets. As a master distributor of FW Murphy and BMD Products, develop and leverage extensive knowledge of products to provide superior service and cost-saving solutions for customers. Success in this role requires a service-first approach and continuous improvement mindset to consistently enhance customer satisfaction.
● Execute strategic sales plans to meet/exceed territory revenue targets and manage assigned accounts
● Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers through regular on-site visits
● Identify and pursue new strategic customer opportunities through targeted outreach
● Create and deliver tailored sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations
● Develop equipment quotes and financing options based on customer needs
● Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product suite and effectively position against competitor offerings
● Document all sales activities and manage pipeline opportunities with consistent follow-up
● Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
● Stay current with product launches and industry developments
● Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement
● 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience
● Industry experience in Oil & Gas, Supply Stores, or Natural Gas Compression preferred
● Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools
● Competitive and aggressive with a drive to win
● Self-starter with track record of exceeding goals
● Growth mindset with desire to develop sales expertise
● Ability to travel regularly within assigned territory
● Valid driver's license and clean driving record
● Ability to lift and handle product samples for demonstrations
● Capable of extended periods of computer work
● Able to stand/walk for extended periods during customer visits and trade shows
