Job Summary

BEX Engineering is seeking an energetic, self-motivated sales professional with strong communication skills and a proven track record of success selling industrial products in the Quebec market.

As an Outside Sales representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base within the Quebec territory. This person will mostly work autonomously, but will collaborate with the sales team and production to ensure customer satisfaction. A successful candidate will spend most of their time outside of the office visiting existing and prospective customer in-person, developing positive long-term business relationships, and achieving/exceeding periodic targets. The candidate will report to the General Manager.


Requirements

Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years experience as a sales professional.
Experience with industrial applications, manufacturing, or fluid control is an asset.
Superior verbal, written and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to build networks with strong professional relationships.
Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to overcome challenges and handle customer complaints.
Proficiency with record keeping using CRM software and Microsoft office programs.
High level of motivation for prospecting new accounts.
Willingness to attend industry events such as trade shows.
Access to a vehicle is necessary.
Fluent in both French and English.


Skills

Grow the sales territory by identifying and engaging with new customers. Utilize cold calling, networking and site-visits to make introductions and build relationships.
Maintain long-term relationships with our existing client base. Regularly visit clients to provide them with solutions, address concerns, and identify additional selling opportunities.
Work to possess deep knowledge of our product lines. Demonstrate our products to potential clients, and present tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our customers.
Closely monitor and report on industry trends, technological advances, potential new markets, and competitors’ activity.
Utilize CRM software to keep track of customer interactions, follow-up meetings, and schedule appointments.
Work with the sales manager to set quarterly and annual goals, execute strategies to ensure maximum growth.
Collaborate with the sales team to share valuable knowledge and provide mutual support.
Liaise with Engineering and Production to set customer expectations and ensure timely delivery.
