Position Summary
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new Production Machining Services business opportunities, while also developing and expanding relationships with existing customers. This role will require a strong technical understanding, strategic market analysis, and excellent relationship management to achieve ambitious sales and territory development goals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Market Expansion
•Identify and develop new Production Machining Services business opportunities in the mining, geotechnical, energy, oil and gas, and manufacturing sectors.
•Conduct market research and analysis to uncover new leads, emerging trends, and customer needs.
•Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
•Collaborate closely with internal teams to design customer-specific solutions.
•Customer Relationship Management
•Build and maintain trusted long-term relationships with Production Machining clients and industry stakeholders.
•Actively manage customer accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying opportunities for expansion.
•Understand client technical requirements and coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure successful product delivery.
Sales Execution
•Demonstrate and promote Dimatec’s product line and machining services effectively.
•Prepare and deliver customized presentations and proposals to prospective and existing customers.
•Meet or exceed sales goals, revenue targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
•Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with customers, ensuring mutual benefit and alignment with company policies.
Reporting and CRM Management
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, activities, and project status using CRM systems.
•Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and market activity reports.
•Analyze sales data to recommend adjustments to strategies and forecasts.
Representation and Travel
•Represent Dimatec at trade shows, customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
•Travel to customer locations domestically and internationally as needed (estimated 25–40% travel).

Qualifications and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Manufacturing Sales experiences is consider as an asset.
•Minimum of 3+ years in outside sales, cold calling, and territory management with a proven track record of success.
•Minimum of 3+ years of business development experience preferred, ideally in Production Machining Services, manufacturing, mining, energy, or drilling industries.
•Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies.
•Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
•Ability to work independently, prioritize activities, and achieve or exceed assigned goals.
•Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (experience with SYSPRO and UNIPOINT an asset).
•Strong interest or experience in applications of metal products for mining, geotechnical, energy, and exploration industries.
