- 7-day coverage required
- Either 8 days on / 6 days off with Monday shift change, or 4 days on / 3 days off with Wednesday shift change
- Day rate: $600–$800 depending on experience
- Per diem: $75–$100 for meals and fuel
- Housing: Hotels in nearby towns or company man camp (availability to be confirmed)
1. Daily ore control work: blasthole sampling, delivering samples, analyzing assays, creating ore/waste releases, field mapping, and publishing daily maps.
2. Maintain and manage blast hole and sampling databases.
3. Geologic mapping of blast holes and highwalls.
4. Sampling for environmental, metallurgical, and ore control purposes.
5. Update block models and digitize mapping daily.
6. Work with Engineering, Survey, Operations, and Metallurgy to meet production goals.
7. Perform daily QA/QC in assigned areas.
8. Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
9. Follow company policies and procedures.
10. Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
11. Work well with others to achieve production goals.
12. Complete other geology tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in geology or related field
- 1–3 years of ore control experience
- Experience with Vulcan (Grade Control module preferred), acQuire, Ore Pro3D
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, databases, presentations)
- Understanding of mining, milling, and maintenance operations
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work outdoors year-round
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license
