Order Puller/Forklift Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment and maintaining the efficiency of our operations. This position requires a strong commitment to quality control, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specified requirements.

- Operate heavy equipment, including reach trucks, for loading and unloading products.

- Maintain organized stock levels and ensure proper inventory management within the distribution center.

- Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before shipping.

- Assist in the movement of goods throughout the facility, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.

- Collaborate with team members to improve order fulfillment processes and overall efficiency.

- Report any discrepancies or issues with stock to management promptly.

Requirements

- Previous experience in order picking, packing, or similar roles within a distribution center is preferred.

- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate heavy equipment safely.

- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.

- Familiarity with stock management practices and order fulfillment processes.

- Attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
