We are looking for an experienced Order Puller to join our 2nd shift operations, which runs Monday - Friday from 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm.
Must be flexible to work overtime hours depending on work and staffing demands. This may include working additional hours before or after your scheduled shift, and occasional Saturdays.
Coworkers earn at least $19.00/hr, depending on experience and receive a $3.00/hr shift differential.
Order Pullers work in a safe and efficient manner to pull material from stock using a forklift, crane, or side-loader. They are then required to package the pulled material for shipment. The ideal candidate must be able to work from order sheets to determine material and packaging requirements.
Areas of responsibility for our order pullers include:
- Reading and understanding work orders and being able to carry out instructions listed on work orders
- Operating material moving equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and side-loaders
- Operating various hand and power tools to safely package material for shipping
- Working with a computer for restocking and shipping purposes
- Keeping accurate inventory records within our ERP system
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing or warehousing experience required
- Experience operating a crane, forklift or side-loader required
- Ability to work in both a team environment and as an individual contributor
- Proficiency in basic math skills; including reading a tape measure and using fractions and decimals
