What you’ll do:
Here is a sample for some of what your workdays may look like:
•Efficiently operate at one of the 5x Peach Arch Operating facilities stretching from Dawson Creek to Spirit River, ensuring adherence to established procedures and guidelines to meet contract demands and corporate expectations for quality, safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
•Work closely with the maintenance team to complete assigned tasks, ensuring the reliability of plant systems and minimizing operational downtime.
•Maintain the highest safety standards by following plant safety practices, complying with WHMIS, TDG, WCB regulations, and ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel.
•Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations. Manage emissions and spills in the event of process upsets, taking proactive steps to minimize environmental impact.
•Continuously optimize plant operations for maximum efficiency and cost reduction. Regularly assess and improve operational processes, while also performing minor maintenance tasks to support the plant's performance.

What you bring:
Required
•High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred
•Completion of all GPO (Gas Plant Operator) modules.
•4th Class Power Engineering Certificate.
•A minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or oil and gas facility

Comments:
We are looking to fill at least 2 contract operator positions. The shift will be 7 on and 7 off with the potential to work nightshifts. The location of this job is within the Peace Arch Facilities.
