These positions will be filled as a Operations Technology Infrastructure Systems Engineer I/II based on candidate qualifications. Pay rates are as follows:
Operations Technologies Inf Engineer I / Grade 17
$30.72 - $46.84 Hourly
$63,897.60 - $97,427.20 Annually
Operations Technologies Inf Engineer II / Grade 19
$35.66 - $55.25 Hourly
$74,172.80 - $114,920.00 Annually
What You’ll Be Doing
•Performs design, testing, implementation, maintenance, support and training of the distributed computing environment. Provides support to an environment including intel-based compute, compute hypervisors, file/block storage, Windows operating systems and a wide range of infrastructure applications such as Active Directory, database services, and numerous business applications. Ensures availability, security and performance. Performs problem identification and creates solutions to address defects/misconfigurations. Researches and proposes infrastructure and security solutions in accordance with departmental standards.
What You’ll Bring with You (Requirements/Qualifications)
•Associate Degree in Computer Science or a related field; no experience required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must have safe work and driving habits.
