This position is responsible for dispatching, managing, and directing the fleet operations in our Tulsa and Oklahoma City locations. Primary responsibilities include efficient and on-time dispatching, routing delivery of product(s), problem-solving customer and delivery issues, managing company drivers, and maintaining customer service levels.
- Ensure, promote, and create safety awareness and incident prevention while creating and maintaining a safety culture environment
- Maintains fleet and other assets to specified standards within budgeted parameters through effective coordination with the Maintenance Department
- Ensures the efficient loading, dispatching and routing of fleet in alignment with company business needs
- Audits customer sites to maintain proper barcodes, unit list and site maps
- Plans and prepares AM routes for dispatch
- Manages PM routes to ensure routes efficiency
- Assists with the ERY/ARY meet weekly to discuss improvement plans
- Assists with Managing Maintenance Protocols “ Truck Service”
- Prepares shift handover reports
- Prepares incidents reports as needed
- Manages routes daily and make adjustments as needed
- Class A or B CDL
- At least 1 year experience in transportation management/dispatch along with a thorough, demonstrated understanding of fleet operations
- Knowledge of transportation operations and laws, federal safety regulations and maintenance requirements preferred
- Strong customer orientation in interacting with and resolving customer related issues in a timely, professional, and positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage
