OPERATIONS MANAGER-COMPRESSION
Responsible to: DIRECTOR - GAS SERVICES
Position Summary: Operates and maintains equipment at stationary CNG stations, customer locations and mobile virtual pipeline trailers. Fills trailers as needed and performs preventative maintenance/work in the field and at stations. Responds to services calls and troubleshoots issues and repairs equipment, as required.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
•Coordinate fill post operations.
•Screen and hire fill post operators.
•Set schedule for fill post operators.
•Coordinate fill post maintenance.
•Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory.
•Assist in compressor maintenance.
•Assist in compressor trouble shooting.
•Assist in compressor commissioning.
•Make sure trailer fill records are up to date.
•Coordinate with compressor mechanics on compressor outages.
•Make sure fill post operators follow all VoltaGrid HSE policies.
•Training personnel on proper fill post operation.
Other Requirements
•High School diploma or equivalent required.
•Mechanical or Electrical technical school preferred. Military Service record in similar field of experience will be considered.
•Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
•Minimum of 1 year experience working in CNG locations/stations required.
•Minimum of 2-3 years of experience maintaining basic mechanical or electrical systems required.
•Proof of CNG or Mechanical/Electrical credentials required.
•Knowledge of Electrical mechanics and experience preferred.
•Experience working in the energy industry preferred.
•Working knowledge of Hazmat and OSHA regulations.
•Strong mechanical background and demonstrated experience performing preventative maintenance in previous work required.
•Microsoft Office Suite experience required.
•Strong written and oral communication skills.
•Self-motivated, and strength working independently and as a team player.
•Exceptional customer service skills.
•Strong attention to detail
