Job Summary
Solar Liberty is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Operations Manager to lead and optimize our day-to-day operations. This individual will play a pivotal role in improving efficiency, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of solar projects from planning through completion.
Key Responsibilities
•Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor field crews, logistics personnel, and operations staff to ensure productivity and accountability.
•Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement improvements in workflows, resource utilization, and communication across departments.
•Project Oversight: Coordinate with project managers and installation teams to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery.
•Inventory & Supply Chain: Oversee purchasing, inventory control, and vendor relationships to support operational needs.
•Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs, generate operational reports, and present insights to senior leadership.
•Compliance & Safety: Maintain a culture of safety and ensure all operations meet regulatory and company standards.
•Process Development: Help standardize best practices and support scalable growth strategies.
•Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Finance, and HR to align operational initiatives with company goals.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (MBA a plus).
•5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in renewable energy, construction, or a technical services field.
•Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
•Proficiency in project management tools and ERP systems.
•Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
•Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities.
•Familiarity with solar energy systems or clean tech industry preferred.
