We are looking for an Operations Mangement Trainee for our Deland, FL Plant!
The Management Trainee – Operations associate will gain hands-on experience in plant operations while developing leadership and process improvement skills. This role is designed for recent graduates in Business or related fields who are eager to learn manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and operational excellence. The trainee will support production activities, assist in quality and compliance efforts, and prepare for future leadership opportunities.
- Learn and assist in unloading steel coils and preparing metal (bending, cutting, slitting) for panel production
- Support production teams during lunch and break periods
- Participate in routine maintenance tasks and operational troubleshooting
- Shadow and assist the Operations Manager in daily planning and execution
- Contribute to process development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure accurate documentation and downtime recording per SOPs
- Monitor product quality and report any compliance or ISO standard issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory audits
- Uphold housekeeping standards for a safe and clean work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and use required protective equipment
- Comply with labor, environmental, and company regulations
- Adhere to the Group Code of Conduct and Compliance SOPs
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Prior internship or experience in manufacturing, construction, or metal building projects is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
