The Operations Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial and operational analysis to support the successful execution and completion of construction projects. This role involves analyzing project costs, tracking budgets, preparing reports, and assisting in the decision-making process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, finance, or related fields, with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Review/Analyze project budgets and costs with Project Managers (including materials, labor, and subcontractor expenses) to ensure alignment with project plans.
· Monitor and track project expenditures against budgeted costs, identifying and reporting variances.
· Provide detailed cost reports and forecasts to project managers and senior management.
· Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project budgets, including initial estimates, change orders, and cost updates.
· Develop and maintain financial models to forecast project costs, cash flow, and profitability.
· Prepare and present regular project status reports, including financial performance, schedule progress, and key metrics.
· Generate work-in-progress (WIP) reports, identifying potential risks and recommending corrective actions.
· Compile and analyze data for closed projects, identifying lessons learned and areas for improvement.
· Assist potential project risks related to costs, schedule, and scope, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
· Audit Final lien releases for project closures.
· Assist in the development of contingency plans to address unforeseen project challenges through the Fade Report.
· Work closely with project managers, estimators, and finance teams to ensure alignment of project financials with company goals.
· Communicate project financial status and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
· Facilitate meetings to discuss project performance, risks, and opportunities with cross-functional teams.
· Maintain and update project data in project management and financial systems.
· Ensure accuracy and integrity of data related to project costs, schedules, and performance metrics.
· Other duties and tasks, as assigned periodically.

· Extended knowledge and skills in software such as Spectrum, Procore, and Power BI.
· A typical office environment with standard working hours. Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in construction project analysis, cost analysis, or a related role.
· Experience in the construction industry, particularly in project controls or financial management.
