General Manager – Sullivan County Location

We are a leading provider of construction equipment rental and sales, known for our high-quality machinery and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a results-driven and experienced General Manager to lead operations at our Sullivan County location. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving business performance, ensuring operational excellence, and leading a dynamic team across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee Daily Operations: Manage all aspects of daily branch activity, including equipment rentals, sales, service, and logistics.
•Rental Management: Ensure accurate and timely processing of rental reservations, outgoing deliveries, and returns. Oversee equipment inspections and intake of new machinery.
•Team Leadership: Supervise and support staff across Sales, Rentals, and Yard departments. Provide training, set performance goals, and ensure high team morale.
•Customer Experience: Resolve product-related issues promptly and ensure superior service delivery. Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
•Sales & Contract Oversight: Support sales efforts by processing contracts, managing financing paperwork, and delegating leads to sales and customer service representatives.
•Inventory & Equipment Flow: Coordinate with internal teams to manage inventory levels, equipment readiness, and site organization
Requirements:
•Industry Experience: Proven experience working in a Heavy Equipment Dealership and Rental of Heavy Equipment environment.
•Sales Expertise: Strong background in equipment sales with a solid understanding of inventory and customer needs.
•Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, reports, tracking).
•Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
•Leadership: Effective people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
