Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance, with a focus in commercial spaces. This is a heavy travel position and the person should be willing to travel throughout the north east part of the united states.

Duties

•

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.

•

Conduct industrial cleaning procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene in larger facilities.

•

Execute commercial cleaning tasks, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained.

•

Carry out custodial duties such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies.

•

Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.

•

Implement floor care techniques including buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of floors.

•

Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.

•

Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise.

•

Utilize truckmount to clean all carpets efficiently while maintaining highest quality

Requirements

•

Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.

•

Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.

•

Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and safety protocols is advantageous.

•

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.

•

Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned duties within designated timeframes.

•

A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment for all facility users.

•

This position comes with heavy travel throughout the northeast part of the united states
